The noppera-bou, or "no-face," chooses a team and then becomes a copy of that role. Because they perform their action first, this means that they will be able to perform their new role's night action. The noppera-bou is on the side of whatever role they become. If they become a wolf, they win if all the wolves (including themselves) survive. If they become a seer or anything else, they win if at least one wolf is found. If they become an onryou, they win if they are killed.
If the noppera-bou becomes a wolf, they will be included in the wolves' night post and see who the other wolves are. No other role has a shared night post.
If the noppera-bou becomes an onryou, they only win if they themselves are killed, not if the other onryou is killed. If both onryou are killed, then both win.
In the case of overlapping night actions (for example, if the noppera-bou becomes a troublemaker, and both the noppera-bou and the troublemaker include the same team in their switches) the original role's action will be applied first, and then the noppera-bou's.
The wolves will have a shared night post if there is more than one wolf team in play. This will allow them to see who else is a wolf (before night actions, at least) and to discuss possible courses of action for the day.
Wolves will not know if their role is changed by the end of the night.
The seer can choose to either look at one other team's role, or look at two roles that have been set aside. This will not change the seer's role. The seer is a villager and wins if at least one wolf team is found.
If the seer checks the noppera-bou at night, it will show up as the role the noppera-bou became, rather than "noppera-bou."
The seer will not know if the role(s) they looked at change after their actions, or if their own role is changed before the end of the night.
The thief switches roles with one other team of their choice. They will know their new role, but unlike the noppera-bou, they cannot perform the associated night actions. This includes the insomniac; they will not know if their role is changed at the end of the night. If the thief becomes a hunter, however, they will be able to use the hunter's skill of "shooting" another team if they are executed.
Like the noppera-bou, if the thief becomes a wolf or an onryou, they will win as a wolf or an onryou would win.
The team whose role is stolen by the thief becomes a thief instead of their previous role. However, they will still be able to perform the night actions of their previous role. (The troublemaker will still be able to switch other teams' roles and the insomniac will still know their role at the end of the night.) The thief is a villager and wins if at least one wolf team is found.
In the case that a thief steals the drunk's role, the thief becomes a drunk and the drunk still exchanges the role of thief with a different one from the middle. The drunk is also a villager.
The troublemaker can choose two other teams and switch their roles. They can only pick teams; they can't switch anyone's role with the roles that are set aside. The troublemaker does not get to know the roles they exchange. The troublemaker is a villager and wins if at least one wolf team is found.
The troublemaker will not know if their role is changed by the end of the night.
The drunk chooses a role that has been set aside and becomes that role. In the case that a thief steals the drunk's role, the thief becomes a drunk and the drunk still exchanges the role of thief and becomes a role that was originally set aside. The drunk does not get to look at their new role.
The insomniac will be informed if their role is changed, and if so to what, at the end of the night. The insomniac is a villager and wins if at least one wolf team is found.
The onryou, or "vengeful spirit," wins if they are killed. They do not win if the village wins, only if they die. If the onryou is killed, only the onryou wins.
The hunter has no night action. If the hunter is voted to be executed, they can choose another team to "shoot," and that team will also die. The hunter is a villager and wins if at least one wolf team is found.
If the hunter's role is changed during the night, they will not know their new role, however they will be informed that their ability to "shoot" another team has been removed.

WOLF
Wolves will not know if their role is changed by the end of the night.
SEER
If the seer checks the noppera-bou at night, it will show up as the role the noppera-bou became, rather than "noppera-bou."
The seer will not know if the role(s) they looked at change after their actions, or if their own role is changed before the end of the night.
THIEF
Like the noppera-bou, if the thief becomes a wolf or an onryou, they will win as a wolf or an onryou would win.
The team whose role is stolen by the thief becomes a thief instead of their previous role. However, they will still be able to perform the night actions of their previous role. (The troublemaker will still be able to switch other teams' roles and the insomniac will still know their role at the end of the night.) TROUBLEMAKER
The troublemaker will not know if their role is changed by the end of the night.
DRUNK

怨霊
HUNTER
If the hunter's role is changed during the night, they will not know their new role, however they will be informed that their ability to "shoot" another team has been removed.
